The first real theatrical trailer for new film in August of Conan came out, and for fans of Robert E. Howard it looks pretty impressive. I know you like Arnold Conan. So do I. The epic score, humor, and Arnold himself all made a great film. But that was not Conan. Like Godzilla 1998, it was Conan in name only.
The new Conan movie is said to have a script that is much closer to the original story by Robert E. Howard, and the look of this trailer, and they may have got it right. If you've played Age of Conan, the environments in this trailer seems familiar, that is a good thing.
Age of Conan (despite its problems) really nailed the look Hyborian Age. Outside of Conan have brown eyes instead of blue, you see everything in this trailer as he jumped from the pages of an original Conan stories. Our hype is growing.
