"First time on the floor?", "Welcome to the mission," said Stephen (Marton Csokas) and David (Sam Worthington), two Mossad agents had its last ally, 25-year-old rookie officer Rachel Singer (Jessica Chastain) in the drama of the debt. The three officers have entered East Berlin in 1966 to track down a Nazi war criminal named Vogel (Jesper Christensen) and return to Israel for trial.
For weeks, the trio train together in a small apartment, to establish a cover for a trap for Vogel, now a doctor with his own practice. Emotions, fear and anger are strong at times between the three agents who may feel pressure from their government to withdraw from the mission with great success. Stephen, David and Rachel, however, do not get much help from their own agency and are almost on their own to kidnap and transport Vogel returned to Israel.
Debt is a gripping, suspenseful, dramatic spy thriller with an excellent distribution. Helen Mirren gives a stunning performance in his career as Rachel, a woman who had to learn to live with a deep dark secret, and its tragic errors, both professionally and personally. It captures the fear of pain, grief and underlying concerns that her character with her beautiful. Jessica Chastain offers a stand-out performance as the young Rachel, who is truly terrified of not on his first official mission and come from both David and Stephen lot more than just a professional manner. It also proves to be a good agent in train a sequence of immersion in the film.
